WineBibber Sangria is a place where you can find some of the most legendary rock bands from the 70s to contemporary pop/funk/soul/rock/jazz. It has a 23-year-old history (formerly two bars – WineBibber and Sangria), initially located in Thonglor, and only four years ago moved to Ekkamai. There is live music every night, with around 15 house bands, often two bands per night. Many bands that have been playing here are living legends like Kaleidoscope or The Beatlenuts. “These people have inspired lots of young musicians, so this is the place where I would like young aspiring musicians to come and see real professionals that do their living as full time musicians”, said Khun Whit, the legendary owner, who unfortunately passed in 2017.
There is always something happening at WBS, with a perfect mix of locals, expats and tourists, paired with great music, food and booze, it is always the place to be!
