Description
Handmade deodorant and scrub made with baking soda, coconut oil, thanaka powder, shea butter, beeswax and essential oils.
Use it as a deodorant:
Just take a pea-sized amount of it and rub into your armpit. It does not stain your clothes (since sodium bicarbonate facilitates laundry washing). Mostly it does not burn even after you shave, but if you have sensitive skin, then be careful and test it first. Use it once a day. It can protect you for up to 24 hours in the most intensive heat.
This deodorant does not have a strong scent so that it doesn’t clash with your favourite perfume. Because a proper deo should protect from odour not cover it!
Use it as a scrub:
Mix a pea-sized amount with water and rub all over your face, then wash out with water. Immediately after, apply a moisturizer as your skin might feel a bit dry (coconut oil for example). It will leave your skin smooth and glowing. Good for blackheads, large pores, acne, as it gently exfoliates. However, as sodium bicarbonate is alkaline don’t use it too often (once a week maximum).
The same goes with your body.
For cracked heels, rub it in and leave for a few minutes. If you have a brush or pumice stone, use it, then wash out.
Rub in some foot cream (or coconut oil).
