ADHERE 13TH BLUES BAR

AdHere 13th Blues Bar is the genuine home of blues, where many Thai musicians played their first blues chords, encouraged by the bar’s owner, Khun Pong, one of the best Thai blues guitarists. With its “your local bar around the corner”vibe, AdHere 13 welcomes everyone in its bluesy atmosphere that is oozing energy of 17 years-long tradition of best live blues in town from the walls covered with pictures of blues legends to bistro type tables and chairs, a slightly vodooesque bar area, and the coolest cat in the world! 

It is the “urban school” of blues, one of the epicentres of blues movement, which has educated and motivated many Thai musicians, who love to hang out here and jam, so one never knows what adventures await with each new gig.

Every night there are two live performances that include a solo musician and a band (some of the best blues and jazz musicians including the owner’s Banglumpoo Blues Company, Hoo Blues, Yamin, Jukes, The Vintagers, etc), packed together with the audience made up of locals, expats and tourists, always a friendly bunch. Surprisingly, no matter how packed, there is always a place for one more or a few, and even dancing when the whole bar goes crazy during its legendary spontaneous jam nights.
